Can you repair the tyre instead of replacing it?
Often, yes, and we’ll always check before we sell you anything. All our tyre repairs are carried out to British Standard BS AU 159, which means the damage has to sit within the central three quarters of the tread. If the puncture is too close to the sidewall, the tyre has to be replaced. That isn’t us upselling, it’s the standard.
