How do I check if my tyres are safe?
An easy way to check is with a 20p coin. Insert it into your tyre’s tread – if you can’t see the outer rim of the coin, your tread is likely above the legal limit of 1.6mm. We recommend 3mm or more for safety—especially in Bath’s wet, hilly conditions. Still unsure? Our technicians can do a full safety inspection on-site.
